I was a blind man / In Jericho / Blind Bartimaeus / Son of Timaeus / I sat there begging / By the road one day / A crowd came walking / And as they passed my way / Someone said Jesus of Nazareth passed my way / And I cried out Son of David have mercy on me / But did He hear me // The crowd around me / Tried to shut me up / I cried out louder / But was it enough // Well Jesus heard me / And called me to him / He asked / how he could help me / What did I seek from him // I told him, Lord what I seek most is my sight / And he said, Go thy way thy faith has made you whole / My eyes were open / My eyes were opened / I'll follow Jesus / I'll follow Jesus / I'm in the way / To him be praised / I'll follow Jesus / I'll follow Jesus / I'll follow Jesus / I'll follow Jesus / I'll follow Jesus / I was a blind man
